Designed for tack force testing of pressure-sensitive adhesives, in conformance with ASTM D6195 and related standards. A looped sample is loaded onto the test strip, and the closed end of the loop is secured by an upper grip (not included - suggested model: G1008). The test strip may be indexed in three positions, allowing for three tests to be performed between cleaning cycles. The strip is secured and released by a lever-operated clamp. Mark-10 G1008 Film & Paper Grips, 1 in, 10-32F
These grips are designed for gripping film, paper, labels, packaging, and other thin materials for tensile and peel testing. Adjustable serrated interlocking jaws effectively grip the samples for up to 100 lb of force. The grips are available in four sizes: 1, 3, 5, and 7. Use them with a force gauge and a test stand to create a complete testing system.
